Cynthia Morgan Batmanis is an artist who has been producing and exhibiting photographic images since 2003. Using the historical, the alternative photographic processes, in her image making was a natural transition from drawing and printmaking to photography. Although educated in the sciences, beginning in 1980, she has created and widely exhibited art in a variety of media including lithography and drawing. Her love of drawing, an important means of expression since childhood, is evident in her photography. She often chooses to include her drawings within the photographic image.
